Ingredients

1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)

1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smooth melting)

Sprinkles or crushed Oreos for decoration (optional)

Instructions

Crush the Oreos: Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until they are finely crushed into a powder. If you don't have a food processor, you can place the cookies in a sealable plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin.

Mix with Cream Cheese: In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese. Use a spatula or your hands to mix until fully combined. The mixture should be moldable.

Form Balls: Take small portions of the Oreo-cream cheese mixture (about 1 inch in diameter) and roll them into balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Chill: Once all the balls are formed, place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.

Melt the Chocolate: While the balls are chilling, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until completely smooth. If using, mix in the coconut oil to help thin out the chocolate.

Coat the Balls: Remove the chilled Oreo balls from the refrigerator. Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each ball into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess chocolate to drip off. Place the coated balls back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.

Decorate: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle with your choice of decorations, such as festive sprinkles or crushed Oreo cookies for an extra touch.

Chill Again: Place the coated Oreo balls back in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.

Serve: Once the chocolate has hardened, your Oreo balls are ready to enjoy! Store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
