Honey Pepper Chicken Mac and Cheese

2 cups elbow macaroni

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated

1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated

½ cup cream cheese

1½ cups milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

2 tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

2 tablespoons butter

½ cup breadcrumbs (for topping)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Cook the Macaroni: In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add a pinch of salt. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Prepare the Cheese Sauce: In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the milk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt. Stir well and simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

      Add Cream Cheese: Add the cream cheese to the sauce and stir until fully melted and smooth.

        Mix in Cheeses: Gradually add the sharp cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, stirring continuously until melted and creamy. This is your cheese sauce!

          Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked macaroni, shredded chicken, honey, and black pepper to the cheese sauce, stirring until everything is well-coated.
