Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

4 medium potatoes, sliced thinly

1 large onion, diced

2 cups green beans (fresh or frozen)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil for sautéing

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil. Add the ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Sauté the Vegetables: Add the diced onion to the skillet with the ground beef and sauté until the onions are translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced potatoes, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and the ground beef mixture. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.

Layer in Casserole Dish: Grease a 9x13 inch casserole dish. Pour the mixture into the dish, spreading it out evenly.

Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the casserole.

Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Serve: Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Enjoy!
