Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

Make the Brownie Layer: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Stir until well combined, then add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped Oreo cookies.

Pour the Brownie Batter: Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly across the bottom.

Prepare the Cookie Dough Layer: In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the milk and vanilla extract. Gradually add the heat-treated flour until combined, then fold in the mini chocolate chips.

Assemble Together: Spoon dollops of the cookie dough mixture over the brownie layer, using a spatula to spread it out gently. It doesn’t need to cover the brownie entirely.

Add Crushed Oreos: Sprinkle the crushed Oreo cookies evenly on top of the cookie dough layer.

Bake: Place the baking pan in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).

Cool and Drizzle: Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan. If desired, melt some chocolate to make ganache and drizzle it on top before slicing.

Serve and Enjoy: Cut into squares, serve, and delight in the combination of rich brownies, cookie dough, and Oreos!
